Description

The Computerized Melt Flow Index Tester measures how fast melted plastic flows. It heats the sample to any set point up to 400 °C and holds that temperature within 0.1 °C. A bright back lit LCD screen shows the numbers. The built in program works out the Melt Flow Rate by itself - the user does not calculate by hand and does not copy figures wrongly. The machine follows ASTM D1238 and ISO 1133 rules - labs that check quality or develop new plastics accept the readings. The outer cover has a powder coat that resists rust plus knocks. The unit is built in India and gives steady results every time.
