Product Details

The Drop Tester Motorized Pneumatic from Pacorr Testing Instruments measures how much impact a package or product survives. A motor drives the lift and air pressure locks the arm - together they move the sample to the exact height for each release. A scale on the column shows the drop height, which the operator sets anywhere between the lowest and highest marks so one machine handles cartons, bottles or blister packs. The steel table and welded frame keep the unit steady - the sample lands on the same spot every cycle. PACORR builds the tester in India and sells it new - buyers order one unit or more. The fixture grips the test item on its edge or on its face - releases it onto a steel floor plate - sensors record dents, cracks or breaks. Makers of food cartons, pharma boxes or courier bags use the data to prove the pack survives transit drops and meets ASTM, ISO besides ISTA rules.
