Description

The Universal Tensile Testing Machine, Capacity: 5000Kgf by Pacorr Testing Instruments, tests how much force a material withstands before it breaks. A 3 hp induction motor from Crompton or Bharat Bijlee drives the unit through a gear box that runs without vibration. The load cell reads to 0.5 Kg - the display shows tensile force up to 5000 Kgf with the same step size. A speed drive from Crompton or Delta holds the cross head at the set rate for the full test. The frame, electronics and software are assembled in India and sold under the Pacorr name. Operators use the machine on metals, plastics, polymers plus composites in factories and labs to check batch quality or to collect research data. Thick steel plates, hardened guide rods and sealed switches give the unit a long working life but also keep calibration intact.
